Robert C. Street, 54
Robert C. Street, 54, of Laurel, Del., passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, Del. He was an auto-body technician and also worked part-time as a janitor at Barcroft in Lewes, Del. He was a member of the First Congregational U.M. Church, Milton, Del. A very quiet person, he was a collector of arrowheads and other Native American artifacts. He was one of a set of triplets and had three sets of twins as siblings.
Street was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer R. and Florine P. Daisey Street; six brothers, Vernon Daisey, Curtis, Escuss, Harold, Carlos and Benjamin Street; and two sisters, Virginia Sammons and Lottie Street. He is survived by 14 brothers, Richard Street of Montana, Wildon Street of Seattle, Wash., Everett, Charles and Paul Street of Lewes, Del., Roy Street and his wife Shirley of Harbeson, Del., Newlin Street and his wife Cozy of Newark, Del., Nolan Street of Ellendale, Del., Victor Street and his wife Annette of Ellendale, Del., Ronald Street and his wife Gladys of Selbyville, Del., William Daisey and his wife Shirley of Dover, Del., Nathan Street of San Diego, Calif., Carl Street and his wife Janice of Seaford, Del., and Garcia Street of Dagsboro, Del.; five sisters, Margaret Harris of Wilmington, Del., Ruth Street of Houston, Texas, Pearl Burks and her husband Ronnie of Calif., Merle Street of Bridgeville, Del., and Marian Street of Georgetown, Del.; a host of nieces and nephews; his lifelong friend John; and his caregiver, Olivia Hall.
Services will be held at noon on Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Del., where friends may call at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the 1st Congregational Church Cemetery, Milton, Del.
