Clarence V. ‘Vince’ McCabe II, 46
Clarence V. “Vince” McCabe II, 46, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Frankford, Del. He was a self-employed owner/operator truck driver for many years. He loved surf-fishing and driving his truck. A loving father, his kids always brought him a smile. He was also a loving brother and a good-hearted person, though people that knew him knew that he was “stuck in his ways.”
McCabe was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Vincent and Sue Ella Long. He is survived by two sons, Clarence Vincent McCabe III and Eben James McCabe, both of Statesville, N.C.; one brother, William McCabe and his companion Michelle of Laurel, Del.; one sister, Malinda Ray Moore and her husband, Joseph A. Jr., of Millsboro, Del.; three nephews, Joseph A. Moore IV, William M.L. McCabe and Dylan McCabe; and one great-nephew, Joseph A. Moore V.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street in Millsboro, where friends may call two hours before the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the trust fund for his sons, Clarence and Eben, payable to PNC Bank, Attn.: Amber Altemose, 104 Main St., Millsboro, DE 19966.
