Nathan R. “Dick” Perry Jr., 76, of Ocean City, Md., formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. He was an electrical engineer and project head for Vitro Laboratories in Silver Spring, where he had worked for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Ocean City Elks Lodge and the Ocean Pines Golf Club. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling and spending time on the water. He was an army veteran of the Korean War.
Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan R. Perry Sr. and Elizabeth Cullen Perry. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Laura M. Perry; two sons, Nathan R. Perry III of Lake Ranch, Fla., and James D. Harrison of Palm City, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Connor and Cameron Perry.
A funeral service was scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2008, with interment in Eastern Shore Veteran’s Cemetery, Hurlock, Md. on Thursday, May 1, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
