Marsha L. Hale, 63, of Lewes, Del., formerly of Wilmington, Del., passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, at her sister’s home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the medical records supervisor at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, retiring after 38 years of service. She enjoyed boating, fishing, reading, watching sci-fi movies and loved to shop. She was an animal lover, humanitarian and a very loving and giving friend. She was an avid collector of angels.
Hale was preceded in death by her parents, Orville T. and Ruth (Myers) Clark; and her husband, John Hale. She is survived by her sister, Christine King and her husband, Bruce, of Lewes; a nephew, Capt. Brian King of Cape Hatteras, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Pamela Stein of Wilmington, Del.; and a brother-in-law, Don Hale and his wife, Carol, also of Wilmington.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro, Del. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
