Norman Stanley Mitchell, 61, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. A retired custom cabinetmaker, he was a hard worker and a perfectionist. He enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting, hunting and building dollhouses.
Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Norman C. Mitchell. He is survived by his mother, Florence E. Atkins of Millsboro, Del.; a daughter, Holly Donovan of Lewes, Del.; a step-daughter, Carla Baker and a step-son, James Baker, both of Millsboro; sisters, June Brittingham of Dagsboro and Jo Ann Marvel of Frankford, Del.; a brother, Dale Atkins of Millsboro; a devoted caregiver and special friend, Abby Baker of Millsboro; and a grandson who was the light of his life, Logan Donovan.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, with interment in Millsboro Cemetery.
