Charles Henry “Sonny” Hall, 56 of Salisbury, Md., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury, Md.
Hall was a landscaper with an Ocean Pines company and previously was a supervisor at Showell Farms. He was a very likeable person who lived life to the fullest. Hall attended Millsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church in Millsboro. He had his own band and, while serving in the Job Corps, had the honor of playing for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His father, Charles Lewis, preceded him in death. Hall is survived by his mother, Marie Brown of Millsboro; four sons, Brian Hall of Millsboro, Charles Hickman of Selbyville, Shontay Goodwin of Salisbury, Md., Dana Collick of Millsboro; two daughters, Dynette Tate of Millsboro and Tammy Henry of Georgetown; one step-daughter, Becky Lofton of Salisbury, Md.; three sisters, Patricia Marine of Dagsboro, Joyce Dale of Dagsboro and Debbie Vann of Selbyville; 11 brothers, nine grandchildren and a close friend, Diane.
Services were scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at the Watson Funeral Home, with interment at St. John’s Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Joy, Millsboro.
