Blanche Feddiman Handy, 99, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown, Del. A homemaker, she was a good mother and mom-mom who loved life and loved all children. She was a member of the St. Mark Methodist Church in New Church, Va.
Handy was preceded in death by her parents, John Howard and Emma Cropper Feddiman; her husband, Oscar T. Handy; four brothers, William, Lloyd, Robert and Avery Feddiman; two sisters, Louise Elliott and Marjorie Feddiman; and a grandchild.
She is survived by a son, Roger Marshall and his wife, Marie, of Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter, Blanche A.H. Hudson and her husband, Harry, of Selbyville; a brother, Sewell Feddiman of Pocomoke City, Md.; three sisters, Lillian Gibbs and her husband, Bill, of Selbyville, Betty Jernigan and her husband, Johnny, of Frankford, Del., and Lizzie Martin of New Jersey; nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, with interment in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville, Md.
