Ramona M. Nixon, 74, of Selbyville, Del., formerly of Lanham, Md., passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at home.
She was born in Washington, D.C., and from the age of 4, she was raised at St. Vincent’s Catholic Orphanage. She was a parishioner at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Ocean City, Md., and was a woman of faith and loved the Lord. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, family, friends and her lovely home. She touched the lives of all she met with love and an open heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Nixon.
Nixon is survived by a daughter, Terry Armstrong of Crownsville, Md.; three sons, Jim Nixon of Crownsville, Md., Paul Nixon of Fredericksburg, Va., and Phillip Nixon of Alexandria, Va.; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, Brandon, Melissa, Nicole, Tiffany and Josh; and three great-grandchildren, Ashlan, Tessa and Chase.
