Albert “Owl Head” Farlow Jr., 66, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at the Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army Air Cavalry. He was a vaccinator at the Townsend’s Hatchery, now known as Mountaire, for many years. He loved fishing, keeping house, cooking dinner, joking with friends and relatives, and watching westerns and war movies.
Farlow is survived by a daughter, Deborah Davis of Florida; two grandchildren, caregivers and close friends, Sylvia and Jessie Payton of Millsboro; his adopted sister, Sylvia Stanley and her husband, Thurman; four adopted brothers, Jerome Watson, James Watson, William Watson and Tommy Sample; four nieces; five nephews; four great-nieces; two great-nephews; and many friends.
Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, with interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriots Way, Millsboro, Del.
