Billie Mae Brittingham, 59, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, in the Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. She was a laboratory technician at Intervet in Millsboro and a member of the Joshua House Church. She was a great friend, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, and will be greatly missed by all.
Brittingham was preceded in death by her father, Ralph J. Toomey. She is survived by her mother, Hilda H. Toomey of Gumboro, Del.; a son, Brent R. Brittingham and his fiancée, Renee Austin, of Laurel, Del.; a daughter, Lori L. Brittingham and her fiancé, Matthew J. Albano, of Milford, Del.; two sisters, Sue Stanley and her husband, Earl, of Gumboro, Del., and Caron Hearn and her husband, Wayne, also of Gumboro; a grandchild, Ava Karen Albano; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the Millsboro Cemetery, State Street, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1138 Parsons Road, Salisbury, MD 21801.
