Edna M. Englehart, 101, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in Renaissance Health Center, Millsboro. She worked for Boscov’s, in retail sales, for many years. She was a member of the Long Neck United Methodist Church and was the oldest member of the Oak Orchard Cheer Center. She loved crossword puzzles, “Jeopardy,” “Wheel of Fortune” and chocolate.
Englehart was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Emma Machamer; her husband, John W. Englehart; and her daughter, Jeanette A. Eichler. She is survived by her son, John W. Englehart of Reading, Pa.; three grandchildren, Brian, Gail and Chip; two great-grandchildren, Zack and David; and a great-great-grandson, Ace.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Del., where friends may call at noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the Long Neck U.M. Church, 32051 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.
