Eleanor P. Severs, 79, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Melfa, Va., on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009. She was a retired Realtor and Real Estate Appraiser. She was a member of St. Edmond’s Catholic Church and its choir in Rehoboth Beach, Del., the Henlopen Grange and the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Severs was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Harriet (Hill) Parkhurst. She is survived by her loving husband, William F.C. Severs; her children, Ruth Brown, Laura Brown, Peter Brown and his wife, Rosemary, Laura Moore and her husband, Herbert, and Donald Severs and his wife, Jennie; her grandchildren, Tammy Argetsinger, Jennifer Roy, Jamie Brown, Christopher Brown and his wife, Kelly, and Hunter Severs; six great-grandchildren; and her ex-husband, Peter F. Brown.
A Mass of Christian burial was scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2009, with interment in Colonel Armwell Long Cemetery, near Frankford, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Edmond’s Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 646, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971; or Frankford Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, P.O.
