...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE LOWER DELAWARE VALLEY AND NORTHERN DELMARVA REGION...
AT 935 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE REGION. THE STORMS ARE MOVING RAPIDLY NORTHEAST AT OVER 45 MILES AN HOUR.
THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING, GUSTY WINDS TO 50 MILES AN HOUR, HEAVY RAIN WHICH COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING, AND SMALL HAIL.
MOTORISTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND SHARP REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY DURING THE HEAVY RAINFALL.
