Phyllis Lorraine Harmon, 78, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009. She was a dedicated homemaker and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was know for her sharp mind and sense of humor. She attended Harmony United Methodist Church
Harmon is preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Harmon and Leona Jeanette Harmon; and a sister, Frances Consetta Norwood. She is survived by her husband, Granville "Dole" Morris; a daughter, Wanda "Vet" Radish; a son-in-law, Robert Radish; grandson, Sea "Dock" Radish and wife Heather; two great-grandchildren, Drew Olivia Radish and Vann Edward Radish; a sister, Janet C. Harmon; two uncles, Macklin Harmon and Otis Rohneer; an Aunt, Janie Norwood; three brother-in-laws, Preston Morris, George Norwood and Walter Morris; two nieces, Tyniece "Zag" Norwood and Gwendolyn "Tweety" Jackson; a nephew, Gemez "Fluggi" Norwood; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services have been scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Watson Funeral Hone, Millsboro, Del. Interment followed at the Harmony Church Cemetery near Millsboro, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 in memory of Harmon.
