Thelma I. Denis, 91, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at home. She had been a nursery school director for many years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville and the Womens Club of the Keenwicks.
Denis is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar K. and Mabelle R. Lapp Inderlied; and her husband, Paul Calvin Denis. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly D. van den Heuvel and her husband Ron of Frederick, Md. and Susan A. Denis of Fenwick Island, Del; two granddaughters, Denise Black and Paula van den Heuvel; and one great-grandchild, Deziray Onley.
A memorial service is set for Saturday, Dec. 12, 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville with Rev. Dr. Bruce Cooke officiating. Burial was held on Dec. 2 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Md.
