James P. Reardon, 65

James P. Reardon, 65, of Millville, Del. passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. He was a retired supervisor from Sun Oil. A dedicated firefighter for over 42 years and a lifetime member, past president and past chief of Collingdale Fire Company #1 where he also held numerous other positions. He was a member of Millville Volunteer Fire Company in Del. where his job was with the Fire Police. He was past President of Keystone State Fire Chief Association, and longtime board member of Collingdale Fireman's Relief Association, serving as treasurer for over 20 years. A member of Delaware Valley Fire Chief's Association, Firemen's Association of the State of Pennsylvania and Delaware County's Firemen's Association. He was a member of the Ancient Hibernians in Md. and a member of the Delmarva Association in Md. He was also a board member of the Banks Harbor Retreat Marina in Delaware. A member at St. Anne's Church in Bethany Beach, Del. and a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Collingdale, Pa.
 Reardon is proceeded in death by his parents, James and Anna Reardon. He was survived by his wife, Kathy Reardon (Cohan); daughter, Missy DiGiacomo of Glenolden, Pa.; sons, James Reardon of Springfield, Pa. and Jake Reardon of Merion Station, Pa.; grandchildren, Kathleen, Louis, Mary, Jimmy, McKenna and Coleman; siblings, Tony Reardon of TX, Tina Scott of Brookhaven, Pa., and Bill Reardon of Glenolden, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were set for Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at St. George's Church, Lamont Avenue, Glenolden, PA 19036. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Susan G.
