William Barnes “Barney” Hall Jr., 81, of Fenwick Island, Del., formerly of Baltimore and Ocean City, Md., died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at home.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Ocean City. He was a former member of the Ocean City Lions Club, Ocean City Fire Department and Ocean City Elementary School PTA, where he served as past president, and he was formerly active in the Ocean City Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. Hall Sr. and Dorothy (Davis) Hall and a brother, Timothy Hall. He is survived by his wife, Anne Carroll “Nancy” Hall of Fenwick Island, three sons, William B. Hall III of Fenwick Island, and Scott P. Hall and J.H. Lee Hall both of Ocean City; a daughter, Carroll L. Ward of Dayton, Va.; a brother, Thomas Hall of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Sandra Hancock of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Jody Anglin of Urbanny, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Thursday, July 29, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Ocean City.
