Murray was a retired civilian employee of the U.S. Army, for which he worked in the Procurement Department as an accounting official, and he was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was very active in his church, and “Uncle Milton” was a very caring, generous and trusting man with a big heart, always willing to help anyone in need that he could. Forty years ago, he helped a young couple buy James Funeral Home, making it James & Watson Funeral Home; later it became Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro and continues to this day with a Watson undertaker practicing. This deed has helped thousands of Sussex Countians and others over the years, and he is greatly responsible for that.
