Oscar Lee Ford, 84

Oscar Lee Ford, 84, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Selbyville, Del., and Roanoke, Va., passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at his home.

Ford served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945, during World War II. He was the first president of the Swann Keys Home Owners Association. He was a member of the American Legion Post #28, the VFW and the Community Church of Oak Orchard.

Ford is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Peggy Esther Ford; brother, Harry; niece, Margaret Pitcher; and nephews, George, Thomas and Charles Ford.

Services were to be held privately, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ford’s memory to: Community Church of Oak Orchard; 32615 Oak Orchard Rd.; Millsboro, DE 19966.
