BREAKING NEWS: Maryland man wanted in Selbyville credit-card theft case
The Selbyville Police Department on Tuesday, Dec. 28, was attempting to locate Thomas Bowen Jr., 49, of Bishopville, Md. Bowen is wanted on 42 felony counts of Unlawful Use of Credit Card, 42 misdemeanor counts of Criminal Impersonation and Theft, and 28 counts of Forgery.
Police said the charges are a result of an investigation involving the alleged illegal possession and use of an elderly neighbor’s credit card. The use of the credit card was discovered by family members while the 77 year old victim was hospitalized, police reported. The card is believed to have been taken from the victim’s home and then subsequently used at numerous locations in Selbyville, they said.
