TOWN OF OCEAN VIEW PUBLIC NOTICE
POSTING OF ASSESSMENT LIST

The Assessment List for the Town of Ocean View will be posted in the Town Administrative Offices from February 15, 2011, until March 7, 2011. The Administrative Offices, which are located on the second floor of the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building (201 Central Avenue), will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for examination of all property assessments.

Any taxpayer of the Town of Ocean View who desires to appeal the assessment of his/her property shall notify the Town Council in writing within twenty (20) days of the February 15, 2011, posting date; i.e., March 7, 2011. Please mail appeals to the Town Council: Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building (second floor); 201 Central Avenue; Ocean View, DE 19970.

The Board of Assessment shall hear and determine each assessment appeal. The Town will contact all appellants to schedule an appeal.
