Pizza delivery driver robbed in Millsboro


Delaware State Police this week were asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a Grotto’s Pizza delivery driver on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

Police said the 53-year-old delivery man was scheduled to deliver two pizzas to a residence on the 32000 block of Captain’s Way in the Captain’s Grant Development of Millsboro about 6:45 p.m. The victim, they said, exited his vehicle to obtain the pizzas and was approached from behind by a white man who was at least 6 feet tall, weighed between 195 and 205 pounds, with brown hair, and wore blue jeans and a Carhart-style hooded jacket.

Delaware State Police are continuing their investigation and are asking citizens to contact police.
