NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Ocean View that a public hearing will be held on Application V-237, a request for a variance from Article V, § 999-28 and § 999-32 of the Ocean View Land Use and Development Code submitted by Joseph and Mary Ann Rossano. The applicants seek a variance from requirements restricting placement of a detached accessory structure in the side and/or front yard, a 15’ side yard setback, a 5’ setback from any other structure/building and the required 10’ rear lot line setback for detached accessory structures so that a carport might be placed in the side and front setback areas and an existing shed can remain in the rear lot line setback area on property located at 10 Delaware Avenue (036.250).
The hearing will be held at the Town Hall located at 32 West Avenue at 6 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter on Thursday, March 17, 2011.
The appropriate material may be examined by interested parties on the second floor of the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building located at 201 Central Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and noon and 1 through 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All interested parties are welcome to attend and present their views. If unable to attend the public hearing, written comments will be accepted but must be received prior to the hearing.
