FIPD makes drug arrest after traffic stop

On Saturday, May 28, at 3:30 a.m., Cpl. Stephen Majewski of the Fenwick Island Police Department stopped a Pontiac Gram Am for alleged speeding. According to police, further investigation revealed that in the vehicle was a large amount of suspected marijuana, packing material, a digital scale and large amount of beer.
Majewski took into custody without incident Ethan Moran of Claymont, Del. Moran was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, under-age possession of alcohol, speeding and several other charges. He was released on $13,300 unsecured bail.

Wanted men arrested in Fenwick Island

On Sunday, May 29, at 9:30 p.m., Cpl. Stephen Majewski of the Fenwick Island Police Department responded to a radio call of several suspicious subjects walking around homes in the Farmington Street neighborhood. Further investigation revealed that two of the subjects had been wanted on outstanding warrants and had been listed as registered sex offenders, police said.
Robert Brown, 20, of Camden, Del., was arrested on a capias warrant for resisting arrest and traffic offenses. Pacita Ramos, 32, of Magnolia was arrested on a capias warrant for traffic offenses. Both subjects were released on unsecured bail.
