“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and Schell Brothers will be suspending their Delaware build effective at midnight on Saturday (Friday into Saturday).
Representatives said they will attempt to restore the build at 1 p.m. Sunday, once Hurricane Irene has passed, or as soon as they are informed that it is safe to return to the job. The shuttles for transporting volunteers to the site will stop running Friday at 4 p.m.
"We have been working closely with the Emergency Operations Center to collectively ensure the safety of the production, build and volunteer crew," they said. "We will need everyone's help once work resumes. Given the unpredictability of the weather, this could certainly change."
Representatives said the "Reveal" will likely move to Tuesday. Visit www.SchellBrothers.com for updates.
