Hudson thankful for support
Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generosity. When an illness like Leukemia strikes we don’t know what our future will bring.

We have to live each day dealing with this disease that takes us out of our daily routine. With family and friends that have come forward to help me with this illness, it makes one self stronger and makes the fight easier. I have a long tough road ahead of me but I now know with all the love I have on my side coming from each one of my family and friends the road will lead me to the goal of becoming cancer free.

The donations everyone made for me to be able to get the ipad were greatly appreciated. I am able to stay in contact with everyone by keeping everyone up on my progress.

Family and friends have given me two benefit dinners (Matteo’s and Georgia House) and the Delaware Lodge #37 of Dagsboro and others have given considerable donations that will help with expenses. I have to travel to and from Christiana Hospital 5 days a week for 5 weeks for treatment. I have had enormous amounts of people offer to drive me.

The treatments take a toll on my body which in turn means I could not drive by myself. Again, I cannot thank you enough for everything. I ask for all your prayers and love to continue even after I beat this disease.
