Ocean Atlantic welcomes new Realtors to Rehoboth, Bethany offices

Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty announced this week the addition of three real estate professionals to their Rehoboth and Bethany sales teams. Kim West has joined the Rehoboth office and Peter DeMarie and Shannon Schnabele are now members of the Bethany sales organization.

Kim West, a native Delawarean and University of Delaware graduate, has been licensed and selling residential real estate for the past 12 years. Prior to entering real estate, West was a model with the Ford Modeling Agency, and she still works today with QVC, selling skincare products. Teamed up with the Tull Realty Group of OA Sotheby’s, West specializes in the listing and sales of real estate in Rehoboth Beach and surrounding southeast Sussex County areas.

“I enjoy working with sellers and buyers to help them attain their real estate desires,” Kim said. “When you need real estate service, count on me as a member of your family.” Kim is an active member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. West has also earned her Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation.

As a native resident of Sussex County, Peter DeMarie II brings real estate knowledge and insights to his new position as Associate Broker with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty of Bethany Beach. In his career as an independent broker and land developer, DeMaria has more than 32 years of experience in all aspects of the real estate industry, including new home sales, second home purchasing, commercial, rentals and new construction.

“I spend a great deal of time consulting with my clients on their goals, timeframes and price points in order to provide them with a complete real estate overview tailored to their needs, whether they are buying or selling,” said DeMarie. “Taking the time to understand their goals upfront truly makes the process easier and enjoyable.”

Shannon Schnabele has also joined the Bethany Beach office of OA Sotheby’s. Licensed since January 2011, she previously worked in the aviation field in public relations, marketing and sales. A University of Maryland graduate, she is also certified in short-sale transactions. In addition, she is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Club, Daughters of the American Revolution; Who’s Who for Women in Business in Cambridge, Md.

“Community service is an important part of my life, as well,” said Schnabele. “I really enjoy being a member of the community and currently am actively involved in the Sussex County school system, Make a Wish Foundation and Clean Stream Program.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Kim, Peter and Shannon to our team. We feel the market heading in a very positive direction and are focused on building a strong and professional team of real estate experts,” said Justin Healy, OA Sotheby’s Broker.
