ResortQuest Realtors earn Five Star professional awards

ResortQuest Real Estate announced this week that four of its agents are recipients of Five Star Professional and Delaware Today’s Five Star awards. The award goes to real estate agents rated highest in overall satisfaction by clients, peers and industry experts. Fewer than 7 percent of the 4,000 Delaware area residents holding real estate licenses were selected for the honor.

This year’s winners include Tammy Hadder from the firm’s Marketplace at Sea Colony office; Bob Jennings from the firm’s Bethany Beach office; and Anna Meiklejohn and Colleen Windrow, also from the firm’s Marketplace at Sea Colony location. All four have won the award in previous years.

“We are very much honored to have four of our agents selected for this award,” said Brigit Taylor, Managing Broker of ResortQuest Real Estate. “They consistently strive for excellence in customer service and making the listing and selling process as stress free as possible for our customers and clients.”

The partnership of Tammy Hadder and Anna Meiklejohn combines more than 50 years of real estate experience. Together, they have participated in more than 763 sales, with volume totaling more than $250 million, and are top producers at ResortQuest each year.

A native of Sussex County, Bob Jennings has been a licensed real estate agent since 1976 and has consistently earned top producer status. Jennings specializes in listing and selling beach and waterfront resort condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in the Bethany Beach-Fenwick Island area, as well as the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach areas.

With more than 13 years of experience in resort real estate, Colleen Windrow has consistently received top producer awards since 2001. She specializes in listing and selling homes in amenity-filled resort communities, such as the Village at Bear Trap Dunes, Bayside and Sea Colony.

Five Star Professional conducted research to determine the real estate agents in the Delaware area who rated highest in overall satisfaction. Surveys were sent to Delaware-area residents who purchased a home for more than $150,000 from April 2011 to December 2011. Respondents were asked to evaluate agents they knew through personal experience on nine criteria.

Both negative and positive evaluations were included in the scoring. The research methodology allows only 7 percent or fewer agents in a given market to quality for a Five Star award. A special advertising section of Delaware Today that features the 2012 Delaware Five Star Real Estate agents will be published in November.
