Delaware resort real estate firm Prudential Gallo Realtors announced this week that it is now licensed to conduct business in the state of Maryland.
With the 2011 opening of their Bethany Beach office, the company expanded its operations to the very southern part of the state and, representatives said, always had the intention of continuing farther south into Maryland. It became imperative, they said, to obtain Maryland licensing, due to the close proximity to Maryland resort towns, such as Ocean City and Ocean Pines.
“Having several agents that are licensed to list and sell properties in Maryland, we look forward to bringing our exceptional knowledge and service to the buyers and sellers who choose to live in the Maryland resort area,” noted Mary Cerami, broker.
“Our company has grown significantly over the last several years, and now we are one of the largest real estate firms in Sussex County,” stated Andrew Ratner, vice president of the firm. “We are licensed to serve our clients throughout the state of Delaware and now Maryland, though we will obviously concentrate our efforts to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
“We have found that many people who are looking to move to this region are looking at the Delaware resorts, as well as the Ocean City area and its neighboring towns. By obtaining our Maryland license, we now have the ability to fully serve these customers,” Ratner noted.
Prudential Gallo Realtors has joined the Coastal Association of Realtors, located in Berlin, Md. The Multiple Listing Service of the Coastal Association covers properties in Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland.
Prudential Gallo Realtors was founded in Rehoboth Beach in 1979, by Bette and Sal Gallo. To learn more, contact Broker Mary Cerami at (302) 537-2616 or 1-888-624-6974, or visit the Web site at www.PruGallo.com.
