New children’s book features sights of the Delaware beaches

“No Kite in Sight,” a new children’s book about the Delaware beaches, is now for sale. The book is a mystery about Tim and Kate, a brother and sister who are flying a kite at the beach. Their kite string breaks, sending the kite soaring out of sight. Where did the kite land? The boardwalk? On a roof? Behind a bush?

Tim and Kate are determined to find their runaway kite. Their search takes them to some of the Delaware beaches’ most popular destinations, including the Inlet, Big Fish Grill, Baywood Greens, Bethany Blues, Bethany Beach books and more.

Visitors can see their favorite vacation destinations featured on the book’s colorful pages. And locals may see business colleagues and neighbors transformed into cartoon characters.
