Beebe Medical Center’s Millville Walk-In Care facility will close for the season Monday, Sept. 30, Beebe representatives announced this week. Beebe’s Millville primary-care physicians will continue to serve the community, they noted, and Beebe’s lab services, imaging, rehab and outpatient offices will also remain open.
Dr. Andrea Matthews, a board-certified family practice physician, and Dr. Prentiss Adkins, a board-certified family-practice physician, will continue to accept new patients at the Route 26 office. Matthews became a member of the Beebe medical staff in 2010 and opened her Millville office at that time. Adkins, who has been a long-time physician in southern Delaware, joined the Beebe medical staff in Millville this past summer.
Millsboro’s Walk-In Care has expanded its hours and will serve patients every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, a new Georgetown Walk-In Care will open in late October. Millville and Millsboro both provide outpatient services.
