IR advisor thanks community for support

Editor:

On behalf of the Indian River High School graduating class of 2015, its officers and my fellow class advisors, I would like to thank the community for your generous support over these four years as we fundraised for class events, the prom and, finally, yearbook ads.

Your generosity helped provide unforgettable memories to be enjoyed for each student’s lifetime, and taught the class that altruism is much more than an SAT vocabulary word.

In return, the class donated some of those funds to the Class of 2016 to support their May prom, provide IRHS Pride T-shirts for the incoming Class of 2019 and donate as their class gift a custom-made IRHS Indians photo-backdrop wall to be used for a variety of publicity purposes showcasing our school.

We thank you and wish continued success for your businesses, knowing you wish the same for each of our graduates.

Diane M. Comolli, Class of 2015 Advisor

Reader pleased that Fink resigned

Editor:

I would like to publicly thank Mr. Fink for resigning from the IRSD Board. His opinions and beliefs are as valid as anyone else, including homosexuals. He seems to live in a Book, overlooking reality. No loss.
