Richard Hagans, 60, peacefully entered into eternal rest, passing away on Sept. 17, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. He was born on July 18, 1956, in Lincoln, Del., to the late Albert Hagans Sr. and Margie M. Hagans.
Hagans obtained his education at Indian River High School in Frankford, Del. He had worked several professions throughout in his life, one of them being a chicken catcher, and later he developed a love for construction work. However, at the time of his death, due to his illness, he was unable to work.
Hagans was preceded in death by his father, Albert Hagans Sr.; two nephews, Sylvester A. Briddell Jr. and Elijah L. Foreman Jr.; and a niece, Moniah Briddell. He leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his mother, Margie Hagans; two daughters, Renetian White and her husband, Phillip, and Trina Holden; two stepdaughters, Latoya Harris and Markisha Williams; five brothers, Albert Hagans Jr. and his wife, Margaret, Moses, Robbie and his wife, Vanessa, Donnie, Jackie and his wife, Lisa; and two sisters, Marjorie and her husband Leonard, and Ruby and her husband, Sylvester; eight grandchildren, Latazsha, Tarez, Anijah, X-Zayveighn, Britt, Jakhi, Shemar and Nijee; three great-grandchildren, Zion, Naziah and Tristian; a special friend, Tammy Mumford; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were scheduled for Sept. 24, 2016, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, Millsboro, Del., with interment immediately following, at Zoar Golden Acres in Bishopville, Md.
