Penelope H. ‘Penny’ (Leahy) Hamilton, 76


Penelope H. “Penny” (Leahy) Hamilton, 76, passed away peacefully at home, following a long battle with cancer, on Sept. 22, 2016. She was born in Kingston, N.Y., on Sept. 9, 1940.

Hamilton grew up in Glenolden, Pa., and eventually moved to Aston, Pa. She retired to Ocean View, Del., after working many years as a school bus driver for children with special needs.

Hamilton was preceded in death by her son, Kenny, who lost his own battle with cancer last year. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dick; a daughter, Sue Mossman and her husband, Bill; a son, Steve Finley and his wife, Angela; and nine grandchildren Melissa, Kenny, Matthew, Allie, Damien, Mitchell, Katie, Sophie and Cooper.
