Geraldine A. “Gerrie” Wilson, 84, of Selbyville, Del., formerly of Sterling Park, Va., passed away at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016. She was born July 14, 1932, in Kingston, Pa., daughter of the late John Joseph Christopher and Charlotte Louise (Lavage) Christopher.
Wilson retired in the early 1990s from work as a management analyst with the U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior, with almost 40 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Leland Wilson, in 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Judith Wilson of Robbinsville, N.J., and Cheryl Clark and her husband, Loren, of Selbyville, Del.; a grandson, Glen Leland Wilson II, and his wife, Denise, of Maple Glen, Pa.; a great-granddaughter, Callie Wilson; and her “grand-dogs” Biscuit, Maya and Brutus.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1250 S. Main Street, Hanover, Pa. A service was also scheduled for Oct. 5, 2016, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Berlin, Md.
