Richard F Conti, 81, of Dagsboro, Del., and formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md., surrounded by family and friends.
He was born Oct. 11, 1935, in Portland, Maine, son of the late Francis Conti and Virginia M. (Clancey) Conti.
He was a PGA Golf Pro and retired from Maryland National Park and Planning in 2002.
Conti is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pamela Wright Conti of Dagsboro; daughter, Jennifer Lynn McMullen and husband, Marshall, of Orrtanna, Pa.; daughter by choice, JoAnna Leigh Simpson and husband, Juston, of Indian Head, Md.; six grandchildren, Mattison, Coleby, Alyssa, Samantha, Danielle and Nataleigh; two great-grandchildren, Skyla and Jackson; brother-in-law, Charles Wright and wife, Lauri; sister-in-law, Kay Hall and husband, Warren; a nephew, Timothy Wright and wife, Leah; a great-niece, Elizabeth; and his beloved dogs, Casey and Angel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Anthony “Tony” Mullis.
A celebration of life was scheduled for Oct. 29, 2016, at Melson’s Funeral Services, Ocean View, Del.
