Adam Shane Bradford, 45, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, in Dover, Del. He was born in Ashland, Ky., the son of Paul Boughner of Indiana and Carla (Bradford) Clester of Kentucky.
Bradford honorably served in the U.S. Army branch. He bravely fought in the Iraq war. He went to school for wastewater treatment and worked as an operator at Clean Delaware and later the Kent County Levy Court facility. He was employed as a chef at many restaurants in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Bethany Beach.
Bradford had a love for all sports and could rattle off statistics with the best of them. He especially was known for his never-ending support as a loyal fan to the Washington Redskins, which he shared with his son, Brendon.
Bradford had a generous, helpful heart and loving spirit toward everyone he met. He is remembered for his kindness, bright smile and contagious laugh. He was courageous and proud to be a veteran for the country. However, his most proud accomplishments in his life were his children, whom he dearly adored with undying love.
In addition to his parents and his stepfather, Ronald Clester, he is survived by a daughter, Miranda Robbins; two sons, Brendon A. Bradford of Selbyville, Del., and Seth G. Bradford of Lewes, Del.; and his brother, Christopher Hutchinson, sister in-law, AnnaLisa, and niece, Anna, all of Germany.
