Madlyn V. Banks, 94, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Dec. 19, 2016, in Berlin, Md., with her family by her side. She was born in Dagsboro on Dec. 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph Long and Sarah Turlington Long.
Banks was a secretary for Warren Banks and Dagsboro Electric for many years, until her retirement.
Banks was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Banks. Surviving is a son, Roger Banks and his wife, Bessie; two granddaughters, Karen Moore and her husband, Eddie, and Kathy Guthrie and her husband, Greg; three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Bryson and Devin; a special grandson-in-law, Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were scheduled for Dec. 22, 2016, at Melson Funeral Services, Frankford, Del., with interment at Dagsboro’s Redmen Memorial Cemetery in Dagsboro, Del.
