Chris Megee, 62, of Selbyville, Del., passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at her home following an extended illness. Born in Salisbury, Md., she was the daughter of the late Hilby Landing and Betty (Tingle) Landing of Onancock, Va.
Megee graduated from J.M. Bennett High School in Salisbury, Md., and was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard’s medical unit in Delaware. Megee worked as the chief financial officer of Custom Mechanical for almost 30 years, passionately committed to the Custom family and business growth during her tenure.
Megee lived a robust life, loved NASCAR, was an avid Ravens fan and traveled both locally and abroad. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Roxana, Del., and a past member of VFW Post 7234 in Ocean View, Del.
She is survived by a sister, Rebecca Darby, and her husband, John, and two nephews, Richard L. Jackson, and his children, Jakob and Sadie, and Tony S. Jackson, his wife, Kari, and son, Ayden.
