Albert John Daisey, 95, of Frankford, Del., passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Bayard, Del., son of the late Irving J. and Carrie E. Daisey.
Daisey was a farmer, well-driller and school bus driver for the Indian River School District. He enjoyed being outside and working on his tractors and lawnmowers. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Daisey was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Charles; another brother, Clifton; and a son, Albert Edward Daisey. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Lulu M. Daisey; a daughter, Carolyn Tosti of Frankford; two sons, Alan J. Daisey and his wife, Debbie, of Selbyville, Del., and Thomas Daisey and his wife, Debbie, of Millsboro, Del.; four grandchildren, Mark Benston Sr., Sharon Dyke and her husband, Don, Scott Daisey and Amy Jacobs and her husband, Robert; and five great-grandchildren, Mark Benston Jr., Amber Daisey, Anthony Jacobs, Makayla Daisey and Alexis Jacobs.
A visitation and funeral service were scheduled for Jan. 5, 2017, at Melson Funeral Services, Frankford, Del., with interment at Roxana (Del.) Cemetery.
