In addition to her parents, Shifflett was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace H. Shifflett Sr.; a brother, Robert Payne; and two sisters, Eleanor Devaney and Katherine Ware. She is survived by four children, the Rev. Wallace H. Shifflett Jr. and his wife, Jo Ann, of Victoria, Va., Sandra J. Kramer of Millsboro, Charles L.
