Mark Joseph Bennett, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Ocean View, Del., on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, while surrounded by his family. He was born March 28, 1941, at his childhood home in Bethany Beach, Del.
Bennett graduated from Lord Baltimore School, in the Class of 1959, and received his U.S. Coast Guard engineer’s license from the Seaman’s Church Institute in New York in 1965. He was a steadfast member of the Ocean View Church of Christ for 75 years, serving as an elder for 33 years.
