Warren M. Rex, 93, of Dagsboro, Del., died Friday, March 17, 2017, at home. He was born in Slatington, Pa., son of the late Malcolm S. Rex and Mary E. (Schuck) Rex.
Rex had been a railroad conductor for Conrail for many years and was a member of the United Transportation Union. He was also a member of The River, a Wesleyan Church, in Roxana, Del., and had served with the U.S. Army during World War II, in Europe.
Rex is survived by his wife, Barbara C. Rex of Dagsboro; a daughter, Bonnie L. Onody of Bethlehem, Pa.; a son, Warren M. Rex Jr. of Allentown, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Theresa L. Pyle of Selbyville, Del.; a sister, Violet E. Knecht of Allentown, Pa.; three grandchildren, Pamela Weaver, Brandy Rex and Laszlo Onody; and eight great-grandchildren.
