Christopher Brian Simmons, 31, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born in Lewes, Del., on March 26, 1986, to Brian Simmons and Denise Richardson Laris, who survive him.
Simmons was a graduate of WyoTech Technical School and an auto mechanic who loved working on cars. He loved playing with his friends’ children and was an “honorary uncle.”
Simmons was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and liked fishing, old cars, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Simmons is survived by his stepfather, Richard Laris of Millsboro; his grandmother Marianne Flynn of Rehoboth, Del.; four siblings, David Simmons and his wife, Kristen, of Havertown, Pa., Renee Moore of Jacksonville, N.C., David Laris and his wife, Ashley, of Bonaire, Ga., and Stephanie Murry and her husband, Thomas, of Ruther Glen, Va.; special friends Wayne Cooper and Chris Flood; and his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
