Margaret H. Mumford, 93, of Selbyville, Del., died Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Md. She was born in Selbyville, daughter of the late Charles Hall and Emma R. (Bradford) Hall.
Mumford was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville and had been involved in many activities at the church. She enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, gardening and, in her younger years, playing golf.
Mumford was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Mumford; a son, Curtis W. Mumford; and three brothers, Chester, Cashar and Preston Hall. She is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Becker and her husband, Clint, of Phoenix, Md., and Cynthia K. Mumford and her husband, Rodney Wildermuth, of Columbia, Md.; seven grandchildren, Timothy Mumford, Tara Benton, Patrick Sauer, Todd Sauer, Greg Sauer, Jeffrey Wildermuth and Emily Wildermuth; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was scheduled for July 17, 2017, at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, Del., with the Rev. Dr. James Van Der Wall officiating. Burial was to be in Bishopville (Md.)
