Amelia R. Lynch, 86, of Dagsboro, Del., died Saturday, July 22, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Dagsboro.
Lynch was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Dagsboro, a member and officer of Friends of Prince George’s Chapel, a member of Bethel Choir for years and was also active in fundraisers for the church, as well as Prince George’s.
Lynch was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Lynch; a son, Glen Myron Lynch; a sister, Margaret Morris; and three brothers, William H. Davidson, Russell B. Davidson and Eugene T. Davidson. She is survived by two sons, Eric Lynch and Dennis Lynch; a daughter, Teresa Handy and her husband, John, and John’s sister, Beth Heath; a sister, Marian Quillen; four grandchildren, Erika Williams, Nickoll Abbott, Daniel Lynch and Jonathan Handy; and six great-grandchildren, Amber, Allayah, Dewane, Maria, Ashleigh and John.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, Del., where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Dagsboro’s Redmen Memorial Cemetery, Dagsboro, Del.
