Jackie L. Shockley, 73, of Frankford, Del., formerly of Galestown, Md., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at her home. She was born May 28, 1944, in Seaford, Del., daughter of the late John Lankford and Hilda (Darby) Lankford.
Shockley was a 1962 graduate of North Dorchester High School. Shockley retired from the DuPont Company in Seaford with 33 years of service. After retiring from DuPont, she then worked at the Uncle Willie’s in Dagsboro until 2002.
